How I came across 'Break':
Break appeared on my "Book's I want" list last November/December. I had come across it on a recommended book thing on my ereader, which I broke. Now, that list around that time last year, was very, very long.
Then I fell "in love" blah blah blah and forgot all about books :o
This summer, in the beginning of June, I was really, really bored one day, and I had recently gotten an iPod a week or so before, and I had gotten the kindle app, and I was like "Hey, I've really wanted to read this for a while, might as well get it," it costed 8.99 I believe.
From the first sentence in this book I instantly loved it.

The Cover: 2.5/5
Ah. I love this book, but it didn't draw my attention very much. To plain, and I don't think it does the book justice. That's all I have to say about that, I guess.
Characters:
Jonah. *Speechless* This won't do him justice but..
Jonah is one of the most amazing people I books. Jonah has problems. That is very obvious to the reader. I'm freaking out right here trying to describe him. Jonah has this like plan, to break all the bones in his body, threw out the book I was thinking "Why is he really doing this?"
Jonah is smart, I'll give him that. Or dumb. I'm not actually sure.. Im just sure that he is one of the most complex characters I've ever read.
The reason why I can't describe Jonah is because I can't describe Jonah with describing Jesse.
Jesse is Jonah's little brother, not by much, not even by two years.
Jesse is sick, always has been, always will be. Jesse wants to be normal, Jess suspects that Jonah is breaking his bones to distract there parent from Jesse.
Jesse and Jonah have an amazing relationship. :) They care for each other so much, they both look out for each other, and they're willing to do anything for each other.
Naomi is Jonah's best friend. In most reviews I've read on this book, everyone hates Naomi all claiming that she's a horrible best friend. I disagree. Naomi looks up to Jonah, she's proud of him.
I'll admit, it is pretty messed up that Naomi knows that Jonah is practically tying to kill himself on a daily basis and does nothing, in fact she supports him.
But best friends are like one person. She's supporting him, she has his back . Sure she's encouraging him. Encouraging him to do something stupid/dangerous, but that's what Jonah wants that's what Jonah needs.
Will is Jonah and Jesse's baby brother. He doesn't stop crying. Ever.
Jonah's parent piss me off majorly at times. There so careless with Jesse! And how do they not realize that Jonah is breaking his own bones on purpose?!

Charlotte is Jonah's not-girlfriend. Friends with befits, no strings attached, whatever you wanna call it. Nothing to say on her really, so let's move on.

Plot: 5/5
Most people say they like the first 2/3 parts of the book.
I love all if it.
*•*•MAJOR SPOLIERS FROM THIS POINT IF YOU HAVE NOT READ THIS BOOK AND WISH TOO STOP HERE•*•*•
The book starts off beautifully, with Jonah describing the feelings of breaking a bone. The thrill, the rush.
Jonah, is a 17 year old boy, who breaks his bones and his best friend Naomi films his doing so.
Jonah goes to the hospital and gets bandaged up, his family hates hospital.
He goes to school, has a job and a not-girlfriend, pretty normal.
Except his family is fucked up
Man, I'm not giving his book the review it deserves.
Onwards, I love the way Jonah thinks. Odd, I know, but I do.
Details, details, details.
Jesse gets really sick, Jonah gets pissed off and breaks his toes, his NGF finds out, tells lands him in the crazy house, he escapes . the end. Not
When ever Jonah is upset he breaks his bones, rather then cutting himself like the other messed kids
Okay I give up, I can't describe the awesomeness of this book in words. But I can in music.

Break Play List:
Simple design- Breaking Benjamin
" I live a chemical life
I'm on a mission to try
You went insane for a day
I'll have to shove it away
My only option is gone
Smile as they break and they fall
You want a simpler life
You can't erase what was mine"
When I thought about Jonah this song instantly came into my head. "..I'm on a mission.." Yup, Jonah on a mission. "..I smile as they break.." yup Jonah does that too!
•*•*•
This is the best day ever- my chemical romance
"Well I felt I couldn't take
Another day inside this place
From silent dreams we never wake
And in this promise that we'll make
Starless eyes for heaven's sake
But I hear you anyway
Well I thought I heard you
Say I like you
We can get out
We don't have to stay
Stay inside this place"
Jonah's escape song! It's perfect.
Moving- Get Scared
"I wanna move on, wanna let go of craving
I wanna be home without all the screaming
I'm taking life back, like a heart attack
I'm moving forward"
Jonah wants to stop breaking his bones. He just can't. He wants to be home without all the screaming.
Bleed Like Me- Trapt
I forget to dream in color
I am better off alone
Honest hearts are undercover
We are shadows on our own
Lose ourselves in open waters
Always swimming back to shore
My addictions have no boundaries
Now I'm crying out for more
"my addictions have no boundaries now im crying out for more,"
Scars- Papa Roach
I tried to help you once, against my own advice
I saw you going down....
I can't help you fix yourself
But atleast I can say I tried
I'm sorry but I gotta move on with my own life
Jonah want to fix Jesse by breaking his own bones. Good luck with that Jonah!
OooAddooO
A kick in the teeth- Papa Roach
"what doesn't kill me will only make me stronger,"
Yup I'm pretty sure Jonah said those exact words before..
