2016 Releases I'm Looking Forward to

It's already that time of the year when I start wrapping up thing.

There's a lot of 2016 releases I'm looking forward to, 54, according to goodreads.

This list is not in any order. Except for number one.

1. The Raven King (The Raven Cycle #4) by Maggie Stievfater - WORDS CAN'T DESCRIBE HOW EXCITED I AM FOR THIS BOOK. And sad. I already have several posts talking about TRK, but I. JUST. CAN'T. While I am (obviously) excited to read this, I also don't want it to. The teasers that Maggie has released already have me asfghjkl; I feel like what I'm expecting, isn't going to happen. I don't even know what's going to happen. Please don't kill my son.

Release Date: April 26, 2016

2. WINK POPPY MIDNIGHT by April Genevive Tucholke - The blurb mentions Mara Dyer, The Raven Boys, and We Were Liars. Um, those are three of my favorite books so this book quickly caught my attention. The synopsis doesn't give much away except about the characters, Wink, Poppy and Midnight. I don't know, I just really want to read this book. I've never read anything by her before. The first chapter was released online a while ago and the first line got me.

Release Date: March 22, 2016

3. The Love That Split The World by Emily Henry - Football and time travel? Sign me up. I've only read a few other books about time travel, but I loved them. I also love books about football. It has really good reviews on goodreads so far. This is also a debut novel, which is cool.

Release Date: January 26, 2016

4. Dreamology by Lucy Keating - This vaugly reminds me of my 2013 nanowrimo story, girl dreams of guy, guy ends up being real. It also reminds me of Dream a Little Dream. Anyway, this book just sounds like something I would like. Like, I already know I'm going to like it.  I love the cover, the synopsis is really intriguing and this is another debut.

Release Date: April 12, 2016

5. Jerkbait by Mia Siegert- This book is a book written for me. It's a book I've wanted to read for ages. Not this book specifically, but something like this. Hockey, twin brothers and mental health? Sounds perfect. I'm really, really, really, excited for this. This book also happens to, strangely, be the only contemp book on my top 5. This is also a debut.

Release Date: May 3, 2016

EDIT: After finishing Illumine by Amie Kaufman and Jay Kristoff, their unnamed and dateless book has pretty much jumped to the top of my list (after TRK) wITH THAT ENDING

Honorable mentions:

- Lady Renegade (Rebel Belle #3) by Rachel Hawkins - April 12, 2016
- The Long Gamer (The Fixer #2) by Jennifer Lynn Barnes -  June 7, 2016
- Never Never Part 3 by Colleen Hoover and Tarryn Fisher - January 26, 2016
- When We Collide by Emery Lord - April 5, 2016
- Every Exquisite Thing by Matthew Quick - May 10, 2016
